About The Position

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. As a Software Development Engineer on the AWS Marketplace Engineering team, you will design, build, and maintain core components of the AWS Marketplace platform. You will create high-performance, secure, and scalable systems that transform how buyers and sellers engage with cloud solutions across AWS. You will own critical aspects of the AWS Marketplace platform, including: - Buyer & Seller Experiences - Building intuitive: Interfaces for product discovery, pricing, subscriptions, and deployment workflows. - Integration Frameworks: Developing APIs and services that connect AWS Marketplace with AWS products, partner ecosystems, and third-party platforms. - Marketplace Automation: Creating tools for product listing approvals, compliance checks, and automated billing/payout systems. - Performance & Reliability: Ensuring the platform handles millions of transactions daily with low latency and high availability. - Security & Compliance: Implementing safeguards for data integrity, payment processing, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2). This includes: Managing registration, account oversight, and program enrollment Defining go-to-market strategies and meeting AWS technical/training requirements Partners connect with peers, gain approval to collaborate directly with AWS sales teams, list opportunities in Partner Central, and access AWS seller support to close deals. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
