About The Position

CADRE is seeking a Software Developer to help deliver insight and leadership for national security challenges. The position is located in Northern Virginia and offers flexible core hours. The developer designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs complex software applications. The role calls for a passion for programming and quality, effective communication with end-users, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field or four years of relevant experience.
• At least three years of experience specific to the skill, in combination with education.
• At least two years of experience as a full-stack software developer.
• In-depth experience developing applications using Node.js.
• Experience in backend development and creating APIs.
• Experience deploying applications in a cloud-based environment, such as AWS, Azure, VMware, Docker, or Kubernetes.

Nice To Haves

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, with most recent background investigation and polygraph dates within the last five years.
• Strong understanding of internet protocols and networking technologies used by Internet Service Providers to provision their networks, including MPLS and Ethernet VLAN.
• Understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React.

Responsibilities

• Support a team in maintaining and enhancing targeting applications.
• Track highly technical data regularly and work with team members to retain information for analytical and troubleshooting efforts.
• Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet team goals.
• Develop solutions to maximize system performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities.
• Work with development teams using agile software development methodologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned at the direction of Project Management.
