About The Position

CADRE is seeking a Software Developer to help deliver insight and leadership in support of national security challenges. The position is located in Northern Virginia and offers flexible core hours. The developer will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications. The role calls for a passion for programming and quality, effective communication with end-users, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. The developer will support the maintenance and enhancement of targeting applications, track technical information for analytical and troubleshooting purposes, and develop solutions that improve system performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities. The team uses agile software development methodologies. Other duties may be assigned by Project Management.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly.
• Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience.
• At least three years of experience specific to the skill, in addition to education.
• Two or more years of experience in C#, VB.Net, or .NET software development.
• Experience developing Windows Desktop applications.

Nice To Haves

• Active TS/SCI with poly, with most recent BI/Poly dates within the last five years.
• Experience with relational SQL databases and/or ArcGIS.
• Familiarity with internet protocols and networking technologies used by Internet Service Providers to provision their networks, including MPLS and Ethernet VLAN.

Responsibilities

• Support a team in maintaining and enhancing targeting applications.
• Track highly technical data regularly and work with team members to retain information for analytical and troubleshooting efforts.
• Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet team goals.
• Develop solutions to maximize system performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities.
• Work with development teams using agile software development methodologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned at the direction of Project Management.
