Software Developer - Prototyping Co-op (Student)
About The Position
VRIFY is seeking a technically sharp co-op student who enjoys transforming ambiguous problems into working software rapidly. This role involves a mix of quick-turnaround workarounds to address immediate business operational needs and longer-horizon product prototypes to explore future development possibilities. The student will work on building fast, AI-assisted solutions for immediate business problems, as well as larger exploratory builds taking ideas from concept to tangible results. The role offers variety, with no two weeks being the same across tools, tasks, and problem types. The co-op student will collaborate directly with the Product Advisor and the COO.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-op or internship program.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Comfortable diving into unfamiliar problems.
- Ability to iterate fast with AI tools.
- Ability to ship things that actually work.
- Willingness to figure things out.
Responsibilities
- Build fast, AI-assisted solutions to immediate business problems.
- Develop larger exploratory builds, taking ideas from concept to something tangible.
- Address a variety of tools, tasks, and problem types.
- Collaborate directly with the Product Advisor and the COO.
