As the prime contractor for the High Fidelity Simulation (HFS) Portfolio, we are committed to advancing the Navy’s mission through the development and sustainment of next-generation training systems like CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. Our work directly impacts warfighter readiness and mission success, ensuring the Navy is prepared for the challenges of today and tomorrow. Position Overview Leidos is seeking energetic, motivated, self-starters for these technically sophisticated and challenging software developer positions. Software Developer Co-ops may develop system software, numerical models, or back-end development. All software is developed and executed in a Linux environment and written primarily in C++. All work is directly applicable to actual military training systems. Co-op students will gain invaluable, real-world experience on state-of-the-art computer-based systems. This co-op rotation will start in January 2027 and conclude in August 2027. Subsequent co-op rotations are available for those who require multiple co-op experiences.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
  • At least a 3.2 GPA.
  • Demonstrate solid C++ software development skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Eligible to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance.
  • Available to work at least 7 months full time as a co-op.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
  • Must be able to learn and apply advanced software development skills and techniques.

Benefits

  • Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
