About The Position

The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program in which student teams develop a breakthrough idea or solution for a customer’s complex problem. The program simulates a real-world startup accelerator: interns work on challenge projects, receive mentorship from senior leaders, use Booz Allen products and engagement models, and collaborate to solve problems. The summer concludes with a Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Projects have included technology and business solutions for helping blind individuals navigate and for tracking real-time and open-source information about developing situations.

Requirements

Experience with one or more programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in an academic or internship environment.
Experience conducting research and writing software.
Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
