About The Position

The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program that brings together students to develop breakthrough ideas or solutions for customers’ complex challenges while building technical skills. Interns work in teams in a startup-accelerator-style environment, receive mentorship from senior leaders, solve problems using Booz Allen products and engagement models, and collaborate on challenge projects. The program culminates in a Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Example projects have included technology to help blind individuals navigate and applications for tracking developing situations using real-time and open-source information.

Requirements

• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
• Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in an academic or internship environment.
• Experience conducting research and writing software.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
