About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and/or test and quality-assure software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to develop, debug, or design software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest architectural improvements. The position may allow telecommuting. The work is non-routine and very complex, involving advanced technical or business skills in the area of specialization. The role is a leading contributor, working individually and as a team member, and provides direction and mentoring to others.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field followed by eight years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a software developer-related occupation.
Experience with cloud platforms, cloud-native and Docker-based container applications.
Experience automating build, test, and deployment processes for applications on Linux OS, using Unix command line and shell scripting.
Knowledge of security aspects of software products and services.
Experience with Python, Perl, and Java.
CICD design and development experience.
Knowledge of the SDLC process for cloud services.
Cloud infrastructure design experience.
BS or MS degree, or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.
Seven years of software engineering or related experience.
