About The Position

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Bachelor’s plus five years of relevant experience accepted.
• Minimum three years’ hands-on software development experience.
• Proven track record in multi-threaded and distributed programming in Java or C++ on Linux platforms.
• Deep knowledge of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Java, JDBC, SQL, object-oriented design patterns, CI/CD, Git, and database technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of DevOps or SRE practices.
• Experience building microservices and scalable backend systems.
• Demonstrated technical leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize distributed, multi-tiered software systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery: from architecture and implementation to deployment and operational support.
• Apply advanced object-oriented design and system architecture principles.
• Develop primarily in Java; utilize C++, Python, or TypeScript as needed.
• Engineer solutions in Linux and cloud-native environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure production system reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical teams to drive project success.
• Produce clear, concise technical documentation for system components.
