About The Position

Join Eaton's Electrical Engineering & Services Division as a Software Configuration Technician, where you'll create customized digital experiences through the configuration and implementation of Foreseer, Power Xpert, and other HMI platforms. You'll design engaging web-based graphical interfaces and develop solutions that help customers monitor, manage, and optimize their electrical systems. This is a hybrid role based in Lafayette, CO! The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 - $85,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Windows Operating Systems and common databases such as Access and SQL.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Photoshop, illustrator, Flash, HTML, creative suite, photo manipulation, and web based graphical layout design programs.
  • Strong computer skills are required including intermediate to advanced skills with all Windows Operating Systems and common databases such as Access and SQL.
  • Proficient use of a web based graphics editing program and the entire Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Ability to decipher engineering drawings.

  • 3D graphics Experience
  • Power Monitoring Systems integration experience
  • Working knowledge of Power Management software

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical diagrams and factory drawing packages.
  • Prepare necessary floorplan and electrical oneline images from autocad or visio drawing packages for use in Foreseer, Power Xpert and other HMI systems.
  • Configure large enterprise wide, multi-site Foreseer, Power Xpert and HMI software and web based graphical interface based on custom style guides.
  • Design Webviews summary panels and equipment templates for Foreseer, Power Xpert and HMI systems.
  • Design graphical elements for dynamic electrical onelines and bus animation.
  • Perform QC of work per quality control checklist.
  • Perform PC configuration and testing.
  • Deploy Power Monitoring HMI applications.
  • Present Webviews editing training to both internal and external customers.
