About The Position
The AirPlay software engineering organization develops technology for seamless wireless audio and video streaming across Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, HomePod, and CarPlay. This position is part of the AirPlay Engineering Investigations function, an embedded team that supports the broader AirPlay organization through rapid prototyping, exploratory testing, and development of tools and test infrastructure. The role focuses on building a fully automated testing platform to thoroughly validate new features before they reach customers. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing needs, design and implement features that enable new testing support, and develop tooling for resilient, highly automated testing. The role offers the opportunity to define and implement reusable testing systems that maximize coverage and reliability.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience.
- Exceptional debugging skills and a strong emphasis on maintaining high-quality code.
- Proficiency in deeply analyzing intricate code to understand its functionality and how to apply it effectively.
- Proven experience developing robust, maintainable, extensible, and scalable automation solutions.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, and Python.
- Experience creating APIs consumed by other systems.
- Familiarity with Xcode for development or testing.
