About The Position

This role oversees the work of software applications engineers, involving the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of software for customers. The engineer will write code, perform testing and debugging, and create documentation for installation and maintenance, as well as go-to-market collateral and designs. The position also serves as a technical expert for sales and customers, defining system requirements and modifications, and providing software troubleshooting. The role involves leading the design, integration, and validation of Complex Device Drivers (CDDs) into customer AUTOSAR systems, ensuring high-performance Battery Management Solutions (BMS) features are integrated into the AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) layer according to ISO26262 safety requirements. This is a people manager position.

Requirements

  • Experience in analyzing, designing, programming, debugging software, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products.
  • Proficiency in current programming languages, tools, and technologies for software development.
  • Experience in completing documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Experience in creating go-to-market collateral and designs.
  • Experience serving as a technical expert for sales and customers to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Experience providing software troubleshooting on customer solutions.
  • Experience leading the design, integration, and validation of Complex Device Drivers (CDDs) into customer AUTOSAR systems.
  • Experience ensuring high-performance Battery Management Solutions (BMS) features are successfully integrated into the AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) layer according to strict and safety requirements (ISO26262).
  • Experience collaborating directly with customers to define requirements for CDD development.
  • Experience integrating BMP device CDD into customer system with the AUTOSAR BSW, utilizing MCAL drivers, OS, and RTE.
  • Experience in CDD Verification to facilitate efficient and scalable system architectures for customer use-cases.
  • Experience leading technical issue analysis, root cause debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with ASPICE guidelines and ISO26262 functional safety standards.
  • Experience partnering with Systems and Marketing teams to deliver system solutions, software, collateral documentation and tools.
  • Experience maintaining comprehensive documentation including software requirements, design specifications, and test reports.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with customers to define requirements for CDD development, ensuring they meet vehicle-level BMS needs.
  • Integrate BMP device CDD into customer systems with the AUTOSAR BSW, utilizing MCAL drivers, OS, and RTE.
  • Verify CDD to facilitate efficient and scalable system architectures for customer use-cases.
  • Lead technical issue analysis, root cause debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPICE guidelines and ISO26262 functional safety standards to achieve customer ASIL goals.
  • Partner with Systems and Marketing teams to deliver system solutions, software, collateral documentation, and tools that showcase silicon capability and drive design WINs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including software requirements, design specifications, and test reports.
