Student Assistants will work under the direct supervision of professional staff or faculty to provide support in the Sociology department. This role involves greeting and escorting students and visitors, assisting with event setup and takedown, managing flyers, maintaining student lounges, contributing to scheduling and calendar organization, assisting faculty with copy requests and office supplies, and providing clerical support when primary responsibilities are minimal. There is also an opportunity to contribute to social media management, including content creation and event documentation, when primary duties are minimal.
