This is an adjunct faculty pool for teaching part-time in the Social Science and Human Services department. Rogue Community College is seeking a part-time Sociology Instructor to cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and academic backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about collaborating to enhance student success, creating interactive learning experiences, and fostering a supportive learning environment that inspires students' critical thinking. Specifically, we are looking for an instructor to teach: Race and Ethnicity in the U.S. in person and/or Introduction to Criminology online and/or Juvenile Delinquency online. The instructor is responsible for the planning and implementation of various sociology courses. Instructor is required to create a course syllabus, instruct students in the subject matter in accordance with that syllabus, maintain attendance records, assess student progress and evaluate course work for a letter grade. Instructor will maintain college standards in all aspects of professionalism, record keeping and instruction within the team atmosphere of the social science department of Rogue Community College.
