About The Position
Dakota Wesleyan University seeks an Online Adjunct Faculty member to teach a seven-week Introduction to Sociology course. The instructor will provide engaging online instruction on foundational sociological theories and topics, facilitate discussion, assess student learning, and provide timely feedback in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The instructor will help students examine culture, socialization, diversity, stratification, and social change while applying sociological perspectives to contemporary issues.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate coursework or an advanced degree in Sociology or a related field.
- Prior online teaching experience.
- Experience using Canvas or a similar learning management system.
