About The Position
We are seeking a Social Worker (MSW/LSW) to join our team! Position is for the school year, from Sept-June 2027 and can lead to full-time employment. Candidate will have experience working with children; experience with school/pediatric counseling preferred. Supervision for clinical hours provided as part of job benefits.
Requirements
- Previous social work experience working with children and schools preferred
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Ability to build collaborative teamwork with coworkers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with school/pediatric counseling
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling for students under supervision of LCSW
- Research local resources for at-risk families or families with Medicaid
- Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs, as needed
- Maintain accurate client documentation
