About The Position
As a supplemental clinical social worker, you will conduct diagnostic assessments, determine clinical interventions, facilitate crisis intervention and short-term psychotherapy and provide education for patients and their families. This position includes specified billable patient contact hours. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments
- Determine clinical interventions
- Facilitate crisis intervention and short-term psychotherapy
- Provide education for patients and their families
- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external support systems
- Participating in the development and implementation of the treatment/transition plan
- Functioning as an interdisciplinary team member within the research, practice, and education shields at Mayo Clinic
- Complying with standards for medical/legal responsibilities and serving as a resource to other allied and administrative staff within the section of Social Work and the Department of Nursing
