About The Position
This full-time remote role is for a Kansas-licensed clinical social worker providing therapy to clients with a variety of mental health and personal concerns. The position considers both clients’ clinical needs and external factors that may affect their well-being, including family circumstances, work, housing, finances, and access to services. The LCSW independently manages an assigned caseload and can access clinical consultation when needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. The stated salary range is $115,000–$120,000 per year, with full benefits.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work.
- Active Kansas LSCSW license in good standing.
- Previous experience providing behavioral health treatment.
- Knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a remote caseload independently.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients through scheduled virtual appointments.
- Gather information about mental health concerns, personal circumstances, and available support systems.
- Provide psychotherapy within the scope of professional practice.
- Help clients address barriers that may affect their overall well-being.
- Identify community, healthcare, or social service resources when appropriate.
- Respond to safety concerns according to established procedures.
- Keep case notes and required records current.
- Coordinate with other professionals when a client’s care involves additional services.
- Follow Kansas LCSW licensing, ethical, and confidentiality requirements.
