About The Position

The social worker is responsible for providing psychotherapy and related intervention services to individuals experiencing serious distress or dysfunction. The primary objective is to support and strengthen social functioning. Prevention and intervention services are provided. Requirements

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• Advanced - Assessment skills
• Advanced - Problem solving skills
• Basic - Case management skills
• Basic - Organizational skills
• Basic - Leadership skills
• Advanced - Counseling skills
• Basic - Decision making skills
• Basic - Communication skills
• Knowledge in Mental Health and Addictions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Knowledge in behavioural change models
