About The Position
At NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, talented social workers lead, learn and educate in a department like no other. This is a per diem position where you will coordinate discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families. You will lead clinical debriefing meetings and work with colleagues in need of support after dramatic or stressful events. Requirements
- Master Degree in Social Work
- Limited Permit (must supply exam date prior to start of employment)
- Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) by the State of New York
- Knowledge of Psychosocial Assessment and communication skill
- All roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

- Previous experience working with a psychiatric patient population
