This is a temporary, part-time leave replacement position for approximately 6-7 weeks. The role involves providing intake support, reviewing referral packets, conducting interviews and tours, completing admissions, and facilitating orientation groups for new residents and their parents. The Social Worker will also provide individual, family, and group counseling services, participate in multidisciplinary treatment team conferences, maintain case records, conduct psychosocial assessments, and provide casework services. Coordination and facilitation of family visiting and engagement activities are also key responsibilities. The position requires a strong sensitivity to cultural differences, a belief in people's ability to grow and change, and the ability to set limits and intervene appropriately.
