About The Position

The Social Worker provides support and guidance to individuals and families facing complex challenges. The role includes conducting psychosocial assessments, developing care plans, providing counseling and crisis intervention, and connecting clients with resources. The Social Worker advocates for clients and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support and promote well-being.

The position assesses clients’ psychosocial status in relation to their illness and environment and communicates findings to the registered nurse. It carries out social evaluations and plans interventions based on evaluation findings, maintains clinical records for clients referred to social work, and provides information and referral services to clients, families, caregivers, and community agencies regarding environmental needs. The role also promotes agency programs and events in the local community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education.
• Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (SWORKER:ND).
• North Dakota driver’s license.
• North Dakota auto insurance.
• Basic Life Support (CPR).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, knowledge of community resources, and crisis management abilities.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of healthcare experience.
• Master Social Worker: ND.

Responsibilities
