We are looking for a Social Worker to provide clinical assessment and treatment of clients with various mental health diagnoses, substance use disorders, medication-assisted treatment, and high-risk patients in crisis. Requirements

  • Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • A master's degree in social work followed by two years of social services experience.

  • Individuals who have substance abuse treatment experience
  • Individuals who have passed the ADC, AADC, or EMAC exam at the time of appointment

Responsibilities

  • Completes intake and psycho-social evaluations on primarily adults and some aftercare individuals, which includes providing technical and clinical input on diagnosis and treatment in the interdisciplinary staff consultation with staff prescribers to establish an individual's treatment plan for each individual in treatment.
  • Completes correspondence, written reports, and other communications with other agencies regarding an individual's care
  • May provide crisis evaluation for individuals who are in acute distress as indicated by a family member, coroner, law authorities, etc., which may require complex and specialized crisis intervention, psychosocial evaluation, and specialized clinical treatment.
