About The Position

Provides assessments, treatments, referrals and case management of individuals, couples, groups and families who experience mental health problems and/or addictions problems. Provides professional consultation and collaborative support as an interdisciplinary team member.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to act professionally, ethically and provide sound judgement
  • Knowledge of mental health issues
  • Knowledge of social determinants of health affecting vulnerable populations
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload with multiple demands
  • Knowledge of MHAS and SHA philopsohy and objectives
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to establish/maintain satisfactory working relationships
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize urgent client needs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of psychotherapeutic and counseling skills.
  • Shown skills in program development, training and education and facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other care providers

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients & Stakeholders

  • Proven ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
