About The Position

The incumbent will provide Mental Health clinical services to a primarily adult population. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Intermediate - Organizational skills
• Ability to work under stress
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to competently use computers and software applications
• Ability to perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions
• Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
• Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility
• Ability to prioritize work
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients
• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)

Responsibilities

• Provide Mental Health clinical services to a primarily adult population.
• Deliver services through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct client assessments.
• Engage in effective treatment planning.
• Provide individual, group and crisis management counselling.
• Report client information in accordance with professional standards.
