About The Position

The incumbent will provide Mental Health clinical services to a primarily adult population. These services will be delivered through a combination of direct services, consultation, community resource development and education. The incumbent will work as part of an interdisciplinary team. The Social Worker, BSW reports directly to the Supervisor of Adult Community Services or his/her designate. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
  • Intermediate - Organizational skills
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perceive and analyze problems and effect innovative solutions
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility
  • Ability to report client information in accordance with professional standards
  • A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients
  • Ability to provide individual, group and crisis management counselling skills
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to competently use computers and software applications
  • Travel required
