About The Position

Springbrook Behavioral Health is hiring a weekend-only Social Worker to provide services to its adult patient population. The role focuses on completing psychosocial and suicide assessments and facilitating psychoeducational groups. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Master of Social Work or Master of Counseling.
• At least 1–2 years of acute-care or inpatient experience, referencing psychiatric care.
• Demonstrated competence leading psychoeducational or therapeutic groups for adult populations in an inpatient setting.
• Strong working knowledge of DSM-5-TR, medical terminology, and therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal weekend supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Licensure is desired; LMSW or LPC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychosocial and suicide assessments for newly admitted patients to evaluate and determine their medical, mental/behavioral health, social, economic, and residential needs.
• Provide psychoeducational groups for adult patients focused on coping skills, stress management, diagnosis, aftercare education, and community resources.
