About The Position

Requirements

• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• At least one year of experience in a setting focused on supporting children and their families.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Demonstrate high integrity and ethical standards, humility, grace, empathy, and consideration for others.
• Passion for working with children, families, and therapists.

Nice To Haves

• Background in behavior therapy preferred.
• Training in cognitive-behavioral therapy preferred.
• Training in child development highly preferred.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual cognitive-behavioral counseling to children and adolescents.
• Provide group counseling to children and adolescents.
• Provide parent training and counseling.
• Conduct assessments and social histories.
• Develop and plan individualized interventions and evidence-based treatment.
• Collaborate with school staff and other personnel to implement strategies that promote learning.
