About The Position

Social Work p.r.n. is seeking a part-time School Social Worker for a Kansas City-area transition program. The program supports young adults with disabilities, special needs, or neurodiversity as they transition from high school into employment, adult life, and/or independent living. The School Social Worker will work as part of a multidisciplinary transition team. The temporary contract runs from November 2026 through May 2027. The schedule is flexible with no set hours, but daytime availability is required.

Requirements

• Missouri LMSW or LCSW license.
• Availability during daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Coach and provide guidance to professionals working with students.
• Provide social work expertise related to IEP goals and transition planning.
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student success.
• Help strengthen strategies that promote independence and successful transitions into adulthood.
