About The Position

The Social Worker is responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, including intake and psychosocial evaluations, and providing ongoing individual counseling to runaway or homeless female youth, and youth identifying as female, ages 16–20. Responsibilities include meeting with residents weekly to review service plan goals, support skill development through cognitive and dialectical behavioral interventions, and provide a supportive space to address personal challenges. The Social Worker collaborates in the development of treatment plans, attends weekly treatment team meetings. Additionally, the Social Worker maintains partnerships with community-based medical and mental health providers, participates in collaborative meetings, and coordinates care to support residents’ successful transition into the community.

Requirements

  • LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or equivalent
  • Familiarity with DBT and Trauma Informed Treatment
  • Familiarity with adolescent development
  • Ability to submit all documentation in a timely manner

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a residential setting preferred
  • Applicant with a limited permit will be considered
