The Social Service Worker provides therapeutic behavior management, case management, and other services as defined by licensure and ensures excellence in client care, fiscal management, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
  • Internship experience as required for SSW license
  • SSW licensure in state of practice
  • CPR certification (Post-hire)
  • Valley de-escalation certification (Post-hire)

Responsibilities

  • Provides therapeutic behavior management as prescribed by the program-specific care plan in a residential setting
  • Follows care plan to monitor progress, teach skills, address behavioral concerns, and bill accordingly
  • Assists Therapists or Registered Nurses as needed to develop and review safety/crisis plans and care plans
  • Develops therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Reviews and assesses care plans
  • Coordinates services among internal and external agencies and providers
  • Meets required client care hour expectations and other organizational expectations
