About The Position

Brook Lane is seeking a compassionate and motivated LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, or LCPC to join our Cumberland, MD team. In this position, you will function with independence and clinical judgment while providing therapeutic services across a diverse patient population.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Must hold LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, or LCPC licensure in the State of Maryland.
• Must be licensed at least at the graduate level ; LCSW-C preferred.
• Strong understanding of counseling principles, practices, and professional standards.
• Knowledge of community resources and social service systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to build rapport, maintain professionalism, and support patients with empathy and clinical expertise.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychosocial and mental health assessments to identify patient needs.
• Diagnose, counsel, and support patients and families through a variety of behavioral health challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote healing, stability, and improved functioning.
• Provide education, resources, and referrals to help patients adjust to illness and maintain optimal personal and family well-being.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
