About The Position

Room to Grow is a nonprofit organization operating in New York and Boston that supports families with children ages 0–3 through a strengths-based program offering consistent, personalized support and resources. The Social Worker/Clinician for Family Support builds long-term relationships with parents and caregivers at Room to Grow’s welcoming Family Centers, discussing the challenges and joys of early parenthood and supporting children’s development. The role facilitates the first hour of each family’s quarterly visit, with established schedules averaging 4–5 clinical hours per day. Visits follow a flexible curriculum addressing topics such as child development and parenting strategies while reflecting each family’s priorities. Families may then access boutique items and other resources with support from the Operations team. The clinician works closely with internal Family Support teams that host the second hour of visits and support case management. Room to Grow provides mentorship, reflective practice, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.
