About The Position

The Social Work Supervisor provides clinical guidance and direct supervision to outpatient social workers within the Ambulatory Care Network (ACN) comprised of primary care and specialty clinics throughout upper Manhattan area servicing patients of all ages. The Ambulatory Care Network provides compassionate and culturally competent care to all patients through innovative programming and services. Our social workers are part of a larger multi-disciplinary care team and provide integral supportive services to patients. Under the guidance of the social work manager, the supervisor works closely with the social work team and practice site leadership with the goal of meeting the psychosocial needs of the communities we serve. The social work supervisor provides day-to-day oversight to social work staff, co-manages complex cases with staff and serves as a resource to staff. The social work supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring we provide the best care to our patients. This position is 5 days a week. M-F 9:00am-5:00pm. Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • LCSW
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in outpatient healthcare setting
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
