Concordia College’s social work program seeks a full-time, tenure-eligible faculty member for its graduate and baccalaureate programs. A professionally prepared continuing position may also be considered for candidates with a master’s degree in social work. The position begins in August 2027; salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The role includes teaching in graduate and undergraduate programs, advising students, contributing service to the college and community, and engaging in scholarly activities that promote professional growth and development. The undergraduate program is primarily in person during daytime hours. The graduate program is online and includes some evening hours. Candidates should be able to teach across the social work curriculum. Specialization in substance use and addiction counseling, sports and performance, or aging services is preferred. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of the Master of Social Work program, which has a clinical mental health concentration, and support the program’s mission to prepare compassionate clinical social workers committed to evidence-based and culturally responsive practice. Concordia encourages applicants with diverse backgrounds and perspectives who will contribute to an increasingly diverse campus community.
