The Social Studies Teacher (6-9) is responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their cognitive, physical, and social/emotional development in the 21st century. This role requires the ability to differentiate instruction, manage instructional time and student behavior, and utilize various technologies and classroom tools. The teacher will also consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and the community to enhance student learning and monitor student performance.
