About The Position

Beacon Charter High School for the Arts seeks a full-time Social Studies teacher, with a valid RI Secondary Social Studies certificate, to join our dedicated and passionate teaching faculty. Comfort with curriculum writing is preferred. Beacon is one of the state's most successful public charter schools, located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, serving 231 student artists from across the state. We are looking for educators with strong, standards-based lesson planning and development skills, a student-centered approach, and a commitment to being a participating team member.
