About The Position

Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) is seeking an educator to teach, lead, and inspire students at Walton Middle School for the 2026-27 school year. Requirements

Hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with endorsement to teach social studies at the middle school level (must include eligibility to teach Grades 7 and 8).
Innovative, self-reflective, collaborative, knowledgeable in their content area and instructional practices, and are continually growing and improving.
Passionate about closing equity and achievement gaps.
Prepared to engage with our Culturally Responsive Teaching model in support of our Equity Mission Statement.

Teach Social Studies at Walton Middle School.
