About The Position

This is a 0.5 FTE position located at HB Woodlawn, responsible for planning and delivering the social studies curriculum. The role involves incorporating differentiated instruction, utilizing various instructional strategies including technology, collaborating with teacher teams, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff. The position also requires participation in professional development.

Requirements

Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
Social Studies endorsement.
Experience working with high school students.
Ability to interact collaboratively with students, school staff and parents.
Proficiency with technology and an understanding of instructional applications of technology.
Ability and experience with a diverse population of students.
Ability to be flexible, dependable and highly organized.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area.

Responsibilities
