About The Position
This position involves teaching Social Studies at the High School level. The ideal candidate will support a vision that reflects an ALL STUDENTS classroom program and possess the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, students, and administrators. A strong understanding of technology in the teaching and learning process, knowledge of Common Core Standards, curriculum, standards, and performance assessments are essential. The role also requires supporting graduation by proficiency requirements and experience in a co-teaching model.

- Rhode Island Secondary Social Studies Certification.
- Relevant credentials.
- Relevant successful experience.
- Support a vision that reflects an ALL STUDENTS classroom program.
- Ability to work with colleagues, parents, students and administrators.
- Ability to know and utilize technology in the teaching and learning process.
- Knowledge of Common Core Standards.
- Knowledge of curriculum, standards, and performance assessments.

- Experience in a co-teaching model.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
