About The Position
American Straight A Academy (ASAA), a fast-growing international online school delivering American high school education to students worldwide, is seeking part-time remote high school teachers. The listed subjects are AP Microeconomics and AP United States History. Teachers conduct engaging online one-on-one or small-group classes of 2–6 students using structured materials such as textbooks and slides. Teaching hours depend on availability within the listed schedule options, with no upper limit on commitment. Schedules are given in Pacific Time: AP Microeconomics is offered from 11:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with options for Sun/Tue/Thu or Mon/Wed; AP United States History is offered from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sun, Tue, and Thu.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a related subject area.
- Strong communication skills and a professional teaching attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent teaching delivery.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- High school teaching experience preferred.
Responsibilities
