Social Studies Instructor
About The Position
American Straight A Academy seeks a remote instructor to teach high school AP Microeconomics, AP Human Geography, and AP United States History to students worldwide. The role involves teaching engaging one-on-one or small-group online classes of 2–6 students using structured materials such as textbooks and slides. Instructors track student progress and submit timely post-class feedback. Teaching hours are flexible based on instructor availability within the listed schedule options: 11:00 PM–1:30 AM Pacific Time on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, or Monday and Wednesday. There is no upper limit on teaching hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a related subject area.
- Strong communication skills and a professional teaching attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent teaching delivery.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred.
- High school teaching experience preferred.
