About The Position

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Services or Social Work.
• Or graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program (e.g., some states allow RN students to take the LPN board exam after completing one to two years in the RN program).
• If graduation did not occur within the last two years, one year of LPN experience working in an applicable setting is required.
• Must be able to work in collaboration with others.
• Is knowledgeable about Medicare and other third-party payors.
• Requires good communication and human relation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills are necessary with the ability to collect, compare, sort and prioritize information to be used in the decision-making process.
• Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations.
