About The Position
The Caseworker will provide resources to clients and assist in the food pantry. This role involves direct client interaction, data management, and operational support for social services and community events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CA Driver’s license
- 21 years old
- Experience with Microsoft programs
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish
- 1 year experience in Social Services
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and direct calls
- Enter applicant information into Excel spreadsheets through The Salvation Army online database
- Assist clients in the social service lobby
- Maintain client records, donations, and Salvation Army statistics
- Intake clients seeking emergency food box and utility assistance
- Maintain cleanliness of pantry, stock shelves, and fill food boxes
- Provide data entry for social services
- Assist with Christmas events
- Participate in staff meetings
- Pick up donations
- Other duties as required
