About The Position
The Three River Human Service Zone Board, formerly known as Morton County Social Services, is seeking a new member. This board operates under Senate Bill 2124, facilitating collaboration between regions and the ND Department of Human Services to provide essential programs and services to North Dakota citizens. These services include food stamps, healthcare assistance, housing and home energy assistance, foster care, child/daycare licensing, and abuse/neglect intervention, all aimed at promoting self-sufficiency. Morton, Grant, and Sioux Counties have joined to form the Three Rivers Human Service Zone to address regional needs.
Requirements
- Must reside within Morton County.
- Must be over the age of 18.
Responsibilities
- Meet with the board on a monthly basis.
