Social Sciences Adjunct Instructor
About The Position
The Social Sciences department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates committed to student success, equity, and inclusion, and to using classroom and lab experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. The instructor is responsible for teaching a full range of Social Sciences coursework. Classes may be held during the day, evening, and/or weekends and may require travel to other campuses. A teaching demonstration is required during the interview process, and hiring includes passing a background check. Compensation is $580 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH), commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the discipline or a related discipline, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
- Pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
- Complete a teaching demonstration as part of the interview process.
