About The Position

Photoroom is seeking a freelance Social Media Manager to enhance its presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and other emerging platforms. The role involves identifying compelling stories, transforming insights into engaging content, and positioning Photoroom as a leader in visual commerce. This position requires close collaboration with the Brand and Marketing teams to create content from customer success stories, product announcements, industry analysis, and founder insights. The role is structured for 2-3 days of work per week, with a daily rate of $400-650.

Requirements

  • Based in either New York City or Paris.
  • Proven experience growing and managing large social media accounts for brands, startups, or agencies.
  • Strong understanding of content performance across various social platforms.
  • Comfortable creating content for a B2B audience, including business owners, operators, and entrepreneurs.
  • Experienced with AI tools and workflows.
  • Proficient with Canva and Capcut.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously.
  • AI-native mindset; actively uses AI tools for research, copywriting, content ideation, creative production, editing, or automation.
  • Strong creative instincts and an understanding of visual storytelling.
  • Ability to recognize and provide feedback on high-quality content.

  • Experience building a side business, selling products online, or working in e-commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day execution of the social media calendar.
  • Develop content ideas aligned with brand messaging, product launches, customer stories, and industry trends.
  • Adapt single pieces of source material into multiple content formats (e.g., reports into carousels, webinars into short-form videos, customer stories into LinkedIn posts, founder interviews into content series).
  • Write clear, platform-specific copy for LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to manage content from conception to publication.
  • Oversee approvals, timelines, and shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Monitor social media performance and identify strategies to improve engagement, reach, and audience growth.
  • Propose new ideas, formats, creators, and AI-powered workflows.
