About The Position

Bring the Dort Financial Credit Union brand, culture, and community impact to life through creative digital storytelling. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to create engaging content, grow our online presence, and showcase our people, culture, member experience, and community impact. This role supports brand awareness, engagement, recruitment, and member growth through authentic storytelling and strategic communication.

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
Two years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or a related role preferred.
Experience with design, editing, social media management, and analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and manage graphic, video, and written content across social and digital channels.
Develop stories that highlight our brand, culture, members, team members, and community involvement.
Monitor social media channels, engage with audiences, and support timely responses.
Use content creation, social media management, and analytics tools to produce and evaluate content.
Analyze engagement and performance metrics to identify trends and improve results.
Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing, recruitment, and growth initiatives.
Ensure content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards.
