About The Position

The Social Media Specialist supports the Senior Social Media Manager in executing The Good and the Beautiful’s day-to-day social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and other relevant platforms. This role creates and prepares content, coordinates campaign activities, monitors performance, researches emerging trends, and maintains organized reporting and content libraries. The Social Media Specialist also supports the Senior Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Manager with creator research, campaign coordination, product fulfillment, content tracking, and gifting initiatives. This position contributes to a positive morale among the Marketing Team and throughout the Company. This position will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all assigned job functions.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of major social media platforms, publishing practices, content formats, audience engagement, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to write engaging, on-brand copy and create or edit basic graphics and short-form video content.
  • Strong understanding of how to maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and mission across platforms and content types.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with managers, designers, writers, creators, and other team members.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain accurate records, interpret basic performance data, and identify meaningful trends.
  • Curiosity and initiative in learning new platforms, tools, trends, and social media best practices.
  • Two or more years of professional experience in social media marketing, content creation, digital marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience with The Good and the Beautiful is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use social media marketing tools to create and maintain an active, consistent, and on-brand presence across the company’s social media platforms.
  • Create and prepare posts, reels, stories, and content across social platforms according to the content calendar, for review and publishing by the Senior Social Media Manager.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of social media campaigns, coordinating content creation, editing, reviews, and approvals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute social media campaigns that support broader marketing goals, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
  • Partner with the Senior Social Media Manager to develop and maintain a strategic content calendar and consistent posting schedule.
  • Review the company’s social media strategy and relevant portions of the digital marketing plan, identify weaknesses or opportunities, and recommend improvements.
  • Research social media trends, competitor activity, audience behavior, emerging tools, and platform updates; communicate relevant opportunities or risks to management.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark performance and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Assist the Senior Social Media manager in establishing key performance indicators for social media campaigns, including engagement, reach, audience growth, traffic, and conversions, and evaluate campaign performance against those benchmarks.
  • Track and compile performance data across platforms, flagging notable trends, changes, concerns, or opportunities for the Senior Social Media Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Analyst to prepare organized monthly reports for the Senior Social Media Manager and company leadership that summarize performance, analyze results, and recommend opportunities for optimization.
  • Monitor published content for brand alignment and performance, escalating concerns or opportunities as appropriate.
  • Organize, tag, and maintain social and creator content within the company’s media libraries for easy access and future use.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support for social media campaigns and day-to-day execution.
  • Assist the Senior Influencer Marketing Manager with creator research, outreach tracking, campaign coordination, and content monitoring.
  • Support campaign setup and execution in GRIN, including creating campaigns, organizing creator information, uploading deliverables, maintaining campaign details, and tracking participation.
  • Place and coordinate product orders for influencer campaigns, creator seeding, gifting initiatives, and social media activations, ensuring creators receive the correct products and quantities.
  • Maintain accurate records of creator gifts and product shipments, including order status and delivery confirmation.
  • Coordinate with warehouse employees or other Marketing employees to prepare, package, and ship creator gifts for birthdays, milestones, celebrations, and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Monitor GRIN’s Media Library for newly published creator content and flag content that is inappropriate, off-brand, high-performing, or potentially valuable for paid advertising.
  • Monitor creator content for brand alignment and campaign compliance, escalating potential issues to the Senior Influencer Marketing Manager or Senior Social Media Manager.
  • Identify and catalog high-performing creator content for potential reuse across organic social media, paid advertising, email, website, and other marketing channels.
  • Coordinate requests for paid usage or advertising rights for strong creator content as directed.
