About The Position

Shamrock is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will help bring our brands to life online by creating, scheduling and monitoring engaging content across our social media platforms. This role is hands-on and execution-focused — perfect for someone who is creative, detail-oriented and eager to grow in the social media space.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing or related internship experience (agency or in-house)
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social)
  • Strong writing, editing and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker with a collaborative attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute platform-specific strategies to grow followers, reach and engagement organically
  • Identify trends, hashtags and content opportunities to increase visibility
  • Create a social content calendar that optimizes posting schedules, captions and formats for each platform (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, creative, sales, recruiting, events) to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives and company objectives
  • Assist in light video editing and basic content formatting as needed
  • Write and edit copy for social media posts and coordinate with designers to produce graphics, photos, videos and GIFs tailored to each platform
  • Provide input on content formats that drive engagement (short-form video, carousels, stories, etc.)
  • Ensure brand voice and consistency across all social channels
  • Respond to reviews across various review platforms (Trustpilot, Google Business, App Store, etc.) to assist with community management
  • Monitor and interact with comments, messages and mentions across social platforms in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
  • Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers, partners, RTS Agents and other brand advocates to expand our reach and credibility
  • Escalate customer service issues or sensitive interactions when necessary
  • Track key performance metrics and use data to refine strategy and improve performance
  • Develop regular performance reports highlighting reach, engagement, traffic, and conversion metrics
  • Stay current with platform updates, algorithm changes and emerging trends
  • Proactively recommend new opportunities for growth and engagement
